If you have difficulties in resolving a dispute with your electric, gas, telephone, cable television or water utility service provider, PSC staff is available to assist you. Click on the "Utility Complaints & Inquiries" link above
 
Be sure to have your bill handy when calling your service provider regarding a service or unfamiliar charges on your utility bill.
 
Have paper and pencil ready to write down the date, time and name of the company representative you speak to each time you call your utility company with questions or complaints.
 
When speaking with a utility representative about a utility concern or dispute, ask the company how long it will take to resolve your issue. Be sure to note this date with your records.
