PSC Seeks Comment on Central Hudson Rate Proposal
The New York Public Service Commission (Commission) is seeking public comment on Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation's (Central Hudson) proposal to increase rates by approximately $35.4 million for electric delivery service and $14.7 million for gas delivery service. The proposed increases represent approximately 16.3% of electric delivery revenue and 28.2% of gas delivery revenue. The increases would become effective on July 1, 2009. Ways to Comment
Interested members of the public are invited to comment on the Company's proposal. All comments submitted via one of the methods described below should be submitted not later than May 1, 2009. All public comments received by the Commission will be placed in the official case file and subject to public inspection. The Commission may adopt, reject, or amend any part of Central Hudson's request.
Public Statement Hearing:
The public will have an opportunity to present their comments regarding the proposal at a public statement hearing before a member of the Commission and/or an Administrative Law Judge assigned by the Commission to this case. The date, times and location for the public statement hearings are:
