NYRI Transmission Line
Important Case Update: As of April 21, 2009, the New York State Public Service Commission (Commission) has officially dismissed NYRI's application to build a 190-mile transmission line from upstate to downstate New York. The Commission also stated that a new application must be filed if NYRI seeks to pursue its project. Earlier in the month NYRI announced that its investors had decided the financial risks of cost recovery were too great and withdrew its application.
